Dr. Nenad Belic, loving husband of Ellen Stone Belic; beloved father of Adrian, Roko, Dara and Maia Belic; fond brother of Prederig, Ana, Ivan and Meco Belic; cherished son-in-law of Marian and Jerome H. Stone. Born in Yugoslavia in 1939. Graduated Medical School from University of Zagreb. Completed training in Cardiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Staff of Northwestern and Catholic Health Partners North Side until retirement. Tragically lost at sea during solo row across the Atlantic Ocean. Memorial service will be held at Chicago Sinai Congregation, 15 W. Delaware, Chicago, 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16. Donations to any of the following charities, the American Heart Association, The Alzheimer's and Related Diseases Association, The American Cancer Society or The Chicago Fire Department Widows and Orphans Fund appreciated.
