Kilkee memorial

Architect Tom Byrne, Chairman of the Kilkee Civic Trust, has designed a memorial not only to Nenad Belic, but all ocean rowers lost at sea crossing the Atlantic from North America to Europe. The memorial, unveiled March 22 2003, consists of a large, rough hewn piece of local limestone with a smoothed area containing the inscription.
